RELATIVELY
SPEAKING RELATIVELY SPEAKING is a tearaway comedy about
mistaken identity. A young man arrives at a country house
under the impression it belongs to his girlfriend's parents
whose permission he is going to ask to marry. Unfortunately the man
he mistakes for her father is in fact her previous lover, and the young
man is taken for the lover of the 'father's'wife. Alan Ayckbourn unravels
this comedy of errors deliciously and once undone he tangles it up again
into a farce that is fun down to the last hilarious drop. |
