A thriller by WILLIAM FAIRCHILD
'THE SOUND OF MURDER' first presented at The Aldwych Theatre,
London
on 5 August 1959
It’s
murder, the perfect murder. So Peter Marriott hears. Peter
is in love with beautiful and sweet Anne Norbury and they
want to marry. But there is a problem. Anne is already married
to the ego-centric and famous children’s writer, Charles Norbury.
Charles will not divorce the long suffering Anne. And so the
desperate lovers resort to plotting what seems to be a foolproof
murder. But they forgot to consider Charles’ demure spinster
secretary, Miss Forbes, who harbours a secret passion for
the handsome Peter. This is a tale of intrigue , blackmail
and murder. Prepare to be thrilled and poised on the edge
of your seat as this taut thriller unfolds and keeps you guessing
until the last spine-tingling moment.
